Global Coverage
Airalo provides eSIM plans for 190+ countries. Quality varies by region based on local infrastructure and network partnerships.
UK Traveller Notes
- Post-Brexit roaming: UK networks no longer guarantee free EU roaming. Airalo European plans are often more cost-effective.
- Dual SIM: Most modern UK flagship phones support physical + eSIM. Budget phones may not.
- Currency: Airalo prices in USD. Use a fee-free card to avoid FX charges.
- Carrier unlock: UK locked devices require unlocking before accepting third-party eSIM.
- VAT: May apply to UK purchases — check invoice.
- Consumer rights: Subject to Airalo's terms. Disputes via Airalo first, then card chargeback.
- Emergency calls: Do not rely on Airalo eSIM for emergencies. Use primary UK SIM.
- OFCOM: Airalo is not OFCOM-regulated.
